Omkara Singh Oberoi- Character Sketch Part 3
The turning point
He was cheated brutally that he is no more ready to take a chance..and then came the storm in his life... He was already shaken with all those things happened so suddenly..but this storm came as the last nail to hit on his beautiful heart.His dad gave his mom - a divorce paper, even if he hated his dad, somewhere he thought, his dad will change, as at times he did saw some kinda love left between them..but this divorce, that too for a giri huyi aurat, left his all hopes.He thought someday his mother's tears will get a proper justice ,but it never happened , it became even worse..
and his mom inspite of having such a beautiful gentle character was treated soo soo badly by the destiny..and from a marriage happened out of love to a marriage broken coz of a second lady literally killed that beautiful soul jhanvi...
In front of his eyes , the woman om always loved and respected, who always taught him to be gentle with people, burned herself, that was the worst of things he saw in his life, he has seen alot and this became the last picture that broke him forever.Omkara is no more the omkara he was...!!!! That picture of his mom burning in the fire etched in his mind that, he shut that door of beautiful heart forever..he was learning again that..this world is sooo soo cruel tht it doesnt require a person like the one he was..!!!!!

When shivaay tried to correct tej, he said this is his life and shivaay should not interfere!
it is at this point omkara realizes or as if he was already realizing that he needs to fight on his own to save their family, as shivaay cant do it always.so he decided to stop running away from his problems.(which is why his drug past is not popping up right now, throughout his life he fought alone)
and then as tej decides to walk out rejecting Jhanvi came the plot twist dialogue from Omkara...
This... he is no more weak... he is no more afraid,,,the journey...!

aapne pathar ko dil bante huye acchi tarah dekha hoga mr.oberoi....lekin aaj iss dil ko pathar bante huye dekhoge...ek baat yaad rekhyega mr.oberoi..pathar kabhi dhadktha ny hy...pathar sirf apni dushmanon ko thodtha hy..aur agar aap tootna ny chahthe na..mere saamne aajke baad kabhi mat aana..."
That was a cry from a man who has suffered a lot in his life...and finally, the pain he suffered all his life turned him indifferent to this world. pain became soo soo hard that he became indifferent to others pain too...as he never received what he gave to others.instead others just cheated him, he realized that this world needs a heart of stone than a heart as soft as a flower to move the life forward.he realized, only if he becomes powerful, their problems can be solved, if he is weak, the entire family will turn weak.That is where he decides to fight back in double power,
together with this that corner of his heart which was beating for the beautiful , serene things went to darkness,
a man who never had an interest in business , money and the like decides to crack a deal,just to send out the giri huyi aurat from their family....

1) stopped believing people soo easily
2) was cheated by 3 ladies back to back ( as he saw Svetlana flipped from tej's side to him, as om said he Will give her 100 crores...., his experience with the 3 ladies were the same. 3 cheated him for money...)
3)his own dad gave him the worst memories
4) He became indifferent to others pain and tears,as he finds all these as fake,and even doubted everything as drama
5)and lastly that picture of his mom burning became etched in his mind....( this points are so soo important to understand his behaviour towards Gauri....)
he had within himself, that stone side and flower side, and experience made him chose pathar dil over that soft flower.and again Omkara always hated his dad, and will continue to do so..he hated Svetlana,ridhima ,Ishana and will continue to do so,unless and otherwise, he gets reasons to think reverse...
now tell me..
omkara never had a character progression?? people say it is regression,but as life gives you fireball to play with, he decided to tried to kick it rather than holding it and burn himself in tht fire.he decided to burn evn more altogether that,this fire within himself can kill many of the evils around him.that is how a person grows stronger to survive and to fit in this otherwise cruel world
it is so difficult for man man to back to his old self..once his life experiences teaches him to become another person he was not.(it was evn harder for him to change this way)
